Wednesday's class was great. We all learned and got to know some personal things about each other. Which is good to know, it was like a speech icebreaker. Come Monday I get to my speech. Looking forward to it.

Tonight was a success. I presented my first speech in my writing class. I'm not so nervous to present because that's all I'm used to doing already. I was just nervous in the beginning because I wasn't sure how I was supposed to say/present it. I really like presenting my speeches. I would rather do speeches than work on drafts and outlines.

09-05-2012 First Speech

Last night we did our speech and to be honest i was really nervous because at first i wasnt sure if i did the speech right. Although i was proud of myself for puting the effort in finishing it even if it was my first speech i think i did okay. I  did other speechs for other classes and even when i try to fight my stage-fright  its still hard for me to overcome. Im looking foward to doing other speechs and im hopeing by the end of this semester ill improve.

First Speech

September 5th 2012, We had our first speech.

I was very nervous & I'm sure a few of my other classmates were nervous as well, or maybe all of them were nervous.

Everyone's presentation was on point about themselves, I didn't see anyone make a mistake.

For the 11 of the classmates that were there, 12 including me, we now all know a little bit more about each other & I'm sure that's a great thing.

SEPT. 5

I really enjoyed class last night, even though the whole class wasn't there. I liked watching the presenters talk about their items, some were sentimental while others were funny! I feel like a know a bit more about my fellow classmates now. I'll admit i was nervous at first, but I had help to relax those nerves. I was worried that my classmates weren't going to get my joke, but some of them did. I know that I didn't project my voice and make eye contact with everyone, but i will next time! I'm glad I didn't miss out on most of the class' presentation though too!

Speech #1

Last night was pretty interesting, having to listen to most of our class mates' speeches being presented and everything they had to say about their bags and the items within them. I just wish the whole class was there to join in because those who were absent are missing out. As for myself, I wasn't really nervous at first, but as I stood in front of everybody my arms and legs started to tremble. HAHA! - typo. Well anyways I really didn't care about getting a good grade, I just wanted to share with everybody my presentation to kind of show them parts of my life about me. Well that's pretty much all I have to say for now. See you guys next week!

9/5/2012 Speech #1

last night we did are first speech and I got to know a little bit about everyone and I enjoyed it. Though I thought I was gonna do good. I know I wrote a good speech and my speech was everything about me. But when it came my turn to say my speech I was so nervous! I could hear it in my voice, my voice was shaking I was so embarrass and at the end of my speech my mind went blank. I really gave it my all, but I'm so disappointed at myself. Even if Mrs. Q said it was good, I know that wasn't good and I know I can do better. I really want to be good at saying a speech. I know how to write it but I can't stand in a room full of people and say ugh! what is wrong with me! at least this will be a challenge for me not just writing but also presenting what I write. hopefully next time I can get it right.

Sept. 5 2012

I'm so happy I'm finally over with my presentation for writing workshop, and I think I can safely say I passed. The feeling of relief and passing that one writing assignment is awesome. I learned some interesting facts from my classmates during their presentation. I'm starting to like writing workshop and I think this could be fun!

I wished i could be there to do my speech, but as of today i just found out that i have to do some serious blood work  pray that my kidney's are okay.I really miss you all hope to be back monday.

class 09/05/12

Today i presented my first speech. '' its in the bag.'' I was well prepared and i personally felt that i did outstanding.Not to sound conceited or anything.Everything i said in my speech spoke alot , about me. I hope that the class got to see that i have a soft side and im very understanding and considerate of everything that appears in life. Especially in my own life. This is why writing is fun,we learn about eachother.We also help eachother grow.
